Food Item Cancellation & Refund Policy
Customer Cancellation
As a general rule Buyer shall not be entitled to cancel Order once placed. Buyer may choose to cancel Order only within one-minute of the Order being placed. However, subject to Buyer’s previous cancellation history, Carecity reserves the right to deny any refund to Buyer pursuant to a cancellation initiated by Buyer even if the same is within one-minute followed by suspension of account, as may be necessary in the sole discretion of Carecity.
If Buyer cancels his/her Order after one minute of placing it, Carecity shall have a right to collect a penalty of 100% of the Order amount for breach of contract terms as a compensation for the damages suffered by Carecity, with a right to either not to refund the Order value in case Buyer’s Order is prepaid or recover from the Buyer’s subsequent Order in case his/her Order is postpaid, to compensate the Merchants and PDPs.
Non-Customer Cancellation
Carecity reserves the right to collect a penalty for the Orders constrained to be cancelled by Carecity for reasons not attributable to Carecity, including but not limited to :
in the event if the address provided by Buyer is either wrong or falls outside the delivery zone;
failure to contact Buyer by phone or email at the time of delivering the Order booking;
failure to deliver Buyer Order due to lack of information, direction or authorization from Buyer at the time of delivery; or
unavailability of all the items ordered by Buyer at the time of booking the Order; or
unavailability of all the items ordered by Buyer at the time of booking the Order. However, in the unlikely event of an item in an Order being unavailable, Carecity will contact the Buyer on the phone number provided to us at the time of placing the Order and inform Buyer of such unavailability. In such an event Buyer will be entitled to cancel the entire Order and shall be entitled to a refund to an amount upto 100% of the Order value.
In case of cancellations for the reasons attributable to Carecity or the Merchant or PDP, Carecity shall not collect any penalty from the Buyer.
Refunds
Buyer may be entitled to a refund for prepaid Orders. Carecity retains the right to retain the penalty payable by the Buyer in Section I(2) from the amount refundable to him/her. The Buyer shall also be entitled to a refund of proportionate value in the event packaging of an item in an Order or the complete Order, is either tampered or damaged and the Buyer refuses to accept at the time of delivery for the said reason;Buyer may be entitled to a refund upto 100% of the Order value if PDP fails to deliver the Order due to a cause attributable to either PDP or Carecity, however such refunds will be assessed on a case to case basis by Carecity.
Our decision on refunds shall be final and binding.
All refund amounts shall be credited to Buyer’s account as may be stipulated as per the payment mechanism of Buyer’s choice, the estimated timelines are detailed as below, in case Buyer don't choose to credit it to Buyer’s wallet with his/her Carecity Account;

In case of payment at the time of delivery, Buyer will not be required to pay for:
Orders where packaging is either tampered or damaged at the time of delivery;
Wrong Order being delivered; or Items missing from Buyer’s Order at the time of delivery.
Provided the same is communicated to Carecity Customer Care through the Platform before the Order is marked delivered.
Nursery Item Return & Refund Policy
Carecity believes in helping its customers as far as possible and has, therefore, a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:
Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 24 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.
There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.
No cancellations are entertained for those products that the Carecity marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Pongal, Diwali, Valentine’s Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.
In case of receipt of damaged or defective consumer durable items and nondurable items, please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 1 day of receipt of the products.
In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.
Refunds Policy
Orders delivered & accepted by the customer cannot be refunded. In case you feel the order is not as per specification, please contact our customer care team immediately in 24hrs.
Tour & Travels Cancellation & Refund Policy
- If you cancel your trip a month before the tour, 10% of the tour cost will be deducted.
- If you cancel your trip 15 days before the tour, 30% of the tour cost will be deducted.
- If you cancel your trip 7 days before the tour 60% of the tour cost will be deducted.
- If you cancel your trip 3 days before the tour 100% of the tour cost will be deducted.
Caterer Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Minimum Advance 25% or Rs. 5,000/- (whichever is Higher) Of the Total Bill Amount.
- Minimum 80% Advance before 15 Days of The Events.
- In case of cancellation you will get 25% of the advance amount after deducting the advance amount.
- In case of Cancellation You must be informed us before 15 days of Event Date, Other wise advance amount will be Forfitted.
- GST and Other Government Taxes will be levid on total billing amount.
- Payment will be received through Cash / Net Banking / UPI etc.
Electronic Item Return & Refund Policy
Here at Carecity we believe in 100% customer service and strive to please all Carecity buyers. We always do our best to take care of our valuable customers.
In the unlikely event if any product that you have purchased is damaged or incorrect then you may return your product. To be eligible for a refund, the product must be returned to Carecity in a resalable & unused condition. The item must be in the original packaging and returned with any accessories or free gifts within 7 days from the day it was delivered. These categories cannot be returned:
- Used or not in the same condition and packaging as you received it.
- Specific categories like innerwear, lingerie, Beauty products, perfumes/deodorant, pants, socks and clothing freebies, grocery & gourmet, Jewelry and Pet Supplies etc.
- Items which have been used or installed.
- Products that have been tampered with or a missing serial numbers.
- Digital products
- Products with missing labels or accessories.
- Delivered the same product as ordered.
Important Notes
- If you received an item Damaged or incorrect then we may request you to share Pictures or a video with the order Number. The link to upload Pictures and video will be given to you by us.
- If you received a damaged item then you will have to inform shipping company within 3 days of delivery.
- Please make sure that all returned items are packed securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit..
Refund Policy
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If it’s approved, then your refund will be processed, and the credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies
Late or missing refunds (if applicable) :
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Garments and Jewellery Item Return & Refund Policy
We are responsible for what we sell. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer easy Return Policy.
We allow Return of the items purchased from Shoppers Stop within the specified days from the date of delivery as mentioned below
Return is allowed provided the product is in original condition i.e. unused, unwashed, unaltered, untampered & in saleable condition with original tags, invoice & packaging intact (For e.g. T-shart to be sent along with the brand T-shirt box)
All products received will undergo quality check after the product has been received at our Warehouse/Shoppers Stop Store. If the product picked does not pass the quality check, we shall ship it back to you
Garments : 7 days of easy Return & Exchange from the date of delivery
Artificial Jewellery : 7 days of easy Return & Exchange from the date of delivery

We do not accept any Return for First Citizen Card, Gift vouchers, Gift Cards and E-Gift vouchers

If you request a return through Shoppers Stop courier collection for any reason within the specified days as mentioned above or as per the timeline mentioned on the product details page, we request you to return the product in original condition (unused, unwashed, unaltered, untampered & in saleable condition) with original tags, invoice & original packaging intact, failing which returnmay not be possible.

The courier executive will pick the product within 2 working days from the date of request raised. You will receive sms confirmation or physical receipt at the time of product pick-up. We request you to retain the details.

If you wish to return or exchange any product by yourself, you may return the product in unused, in its original condition with original tags and original packaging (along with boxes if any. For e.g. T-shirt to be sent along with the brand T-shirt box) within the specified days from the date of delivery as mentioned above or as per the details mentioned on the Product Description Page.
All Return requests through either of the above modes will be initiated only after the product has been received at our Warehouse/Shoppers Stop Store and passes the physical quality.

Refund for eligible Cash on Delivery order will be done through online transfer in the bank account as per details submitted by you at the time of initiating Return. We request you to take utmost care while submitting the bank details. You shall receive credit into your account within 2-3 working days from the day of refund processed.
The credit reflection totally depends on the timeline specified by the bank. In the case of nationalized banks, you may expect further delay for credit reflection into your account
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: info@carecity.in
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
